Skies, dark and heavy with soot and smoke, have turned daylight to night in the fire zone – and given our air a reddish, Martian tinge the last couple of days.

Moragan Greg Fulcher was up and about early and captured this shot of our sunrise, shot from a ridge at 7:05 a.m.
