(San Francisco, CA — 2/12/25)  Startup Air Fair is pleased to announce the return of this annual event, after a pause due to the after effects of the pandemic. The San Francisco art fair will take place April 18 – 20, 2025 at Hotel Del Sol.

After a five-year hiatus, Startup Art Fair returns with a profound conviction: now, more than ever, we need artists to help guide our culture. In times of political division and complexity, artists offer unique perspectives, challenge our perceptions, and illuminate the human experience in ways that transcend traditional discourse. They are essential storytellers, cultural innovators, and critical thinkers who help us understand ourselves and our world more deeply.

The contemporary art fair turns over the Hotel Del Sol and grounds to over 60 artists from around the country and across the state. The fair transforms chic boutique property into an immersive, contemporary art experience through the exhibition of artwork by a diverse group of independent artists, local art nonprofits, artist performances, installations, and panel discussions. Bypassing the traditional gallery system, Startup connects hungry art buyers to highly curated up-and-coming artists.

The event is held the same weekend as the San Francisco Art Fair at Fort Mason.  Each year’s Opening Night Party (Friday, April 18, from 7-10 pm) is open to the public at the price of a General Admission ticket and includes music, performances, food, and libations.

About Startup

Startup Art Fair is a unique contemporary art fair in an intimate, boutique hotel setting and gives independent artists direct access and broad exposure to art world professionals and the art loving public fostering new relationships and exciting opportunities in engaging environments in three major cities across the country: San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. In today’s market where gallery walls are being replaced by online platforms and immediate access, consumers are experiencing artwork unfiltered and direct from the artists. More and more artists report building a thriving client base and professional success by their own means. Startup Art Fair is forward thinking–mirroring this shift in the art market by creating direct access between consumer and artist without sacrificing quality. Each fair assembles a panel of curators, gallerists and professional artists to select our exhibiting artists, ensuring a thoughtful and dynamic group of exhibitors that will inspire our attendees.
