Police Pursuit Ends With A Bang In Pleasant Hill Tuesday

Closing out what turned out to be a very busy Tuesday in the 24/680 was this pursuit and crash, two gents in a fleeing car coming off the freeway and into the parking lot at 2120 Contra Costa Boulevard in Pleasant Hill – where they proceeded to rearrange some landscaping and adjacent lighting.

Two men were subsequently taken into custody by officers who had apparently followed them from the northern reaches of the county after their license plate apparently tripped police sensors, triggering the pursuit.
