E-Bike/E-Scooter Speed Restrictions Implemented In Danville Parks Today

New rules requiring riders of electric bicycles and motorized scooters to dismount and walk their devices while in all Town parks take effect today.

The Danville Town Council adopted the ordinance in July after pressure from park users and citizen’s groups.

Signs outlining the new rules are being installed at all Town park entrances. The Town has also shared information with residents, local schools, and the San Ramon Valley Unified School District to help riders and families understand the new requirements.
