Man Robbed, Pepper-Sprayed Outside Walnut Creek Bank Monday
A local man making a cash drop at PNC Bank, 1101 S. California Boulevard in Walnut Creek Monday told police he was intercepted by a man who robbed and them pepper-sprayed him after showing him a pistol.
The incident, reported at approximately 2:27 p.m., drew a significant police response.
The suspect, described only as a masked black male, reportedly left the area on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

My comments today will be directed towards WCPD this time. There is no reason nine officers are required to maintain a crime scene for an hour. Even if it were an in progress, four would be max unless a shooting occured.
Oh my gosh, the suspect was probably mistreated by society and really needed the cash .
