Thieves Make Off With Safe From Concord Dollar Tree Store Friday
Details are sketchy but it appears a trio of thieves breached the Dollar Tree store on Salvio Street in Concord on Friday, entering an office with a crowbar and stealing an office safe.
The three were reportedly seen leaving the area in a black Lexus SUV shortly after the incident was reported at 1:44 a.m. It was not known how much money was in the safe.
The thieves were described only as three black males.

The perceived “wrong” housed in your question lacks credibility as it is based upon a false premise.

The plural for thief is thieves. If you want to argue you were talking about the thieves’ description. It would be as I just stated.
They report with what the description is. Simple as that. And if one descriptive group pops up more often than other, it means that they are more often involved. Simple as that too.
