Only, not the good kind as three visitors allegedly tried to make off with some goods from the Walnut Creek Target store this evening… fleeing to the nearby BART station where officers stopped them.
If you are a Honduran mobster running a shoplifting gang, where do you send your boys to steal? Not to the place they might get arrestedā¦.Good for Walnut Creek PD, keep it up!
Okay everyone, I’m sure I’m going to offend some by asking the question: should this trio be in the country? The news reported that Venezuela , Ecudor and Hundururas was emptying thier prisons and pushing the convicts into the U.S.. and with our total open borders and no consequences they are coming? I think it’s going to bring a lot of trouble in the future. I don’t care how poor you’ve been you don’t have a right to come to another country and start abusing it.
“should this trio be in the country?” Umm. No.
Should we secure our own borders? Umm. Yes.
The rest of your post is just unhelpful fearmongering. “total open borders” “emptying thier prisons”…
Congress needs to address the laws governing immigration. Congress is in a state of political paralysis pending a new election, but this too shall pass.
Yep! “The Department of Homeland Security did not confirm the existence of an āintelligence reportā about Venezuela sending criminals to the southern U.S. border. The claim originated with a Breitbart News article that cited an unnamed Customs and Border Protection source.”
The guys who were arrested might have been trafficked, in which case the police will really want to go after whoever’s in charge. Remember they did that in those mass shoplifting crimes a year or two ago in downtown Walnut Creek, and I believe they got somebody.

I don’t know how you can expect to run away from the cops when the waist of your pants are around your thighs.
Or BART is your get away method.
Of course CoCo will not turn them over for deportation.

Police must love the guys who insist on sagging their pants like that.
Great in a foot chase, we hear.
Was there a chase on 24 last night around midnight?
Why, yes, there was! We Flashed it. Interesting one… also a couple of armed robberies.
How about a little detail on the web page for those of us not signed up for every city?

Any more updates on those house burglaries near Blackhawk?
I wish these arrests would make a difference, but it doesnāt. If deported, theyāll just return to commit the same crimes.

How about some follow up on these arrests?
Time. Money. Resources. These people are almost working for free. Make a donation before you ask for more from them.
