A pair of car crashes disrupted a calm Saturday night in Walnut Creek Saturday, leaving people injured and debris on city streets.
The first crash was reported at 10:11 p.m. at Ygnacio Valley Road and N. California Boulevard, temporarily redirecting traffic through the area until a second crash, reported at 10:45 p.m. near the Target store at 1871 N. Main, brought firefighters and police on the run.
Two cars were involved in the later crash, with one driver out of his car and on the ground when help arrived and a second person in distress. Three ambulances were eventually summoned to the scene with at least one person transported to John Muir Medical Center.
There was no immediate word on the cause of either crash.
Hope all of the injuries were minor. Be careful out there pardners.
