A motorist was killed when their Dodge Charger rolled on westbound Highway 4 just east of McEwen Road Friday.
California Highway Patrol officers said the car was speeding on the rain-soaked highway when it passed another car on the right shoulder, flipped and ejected the driver.
The crash was reported at 4:28 p.m. and affected traffic for miles as officers closed the roadway to conduct their investigation.
