HazMat Crews Clean Up Messy Spill On N. Main In Walnut Creek Saturday
Firefighters turned out to clean up a spreading hydraulic spill on N. Main Street at Lesnick Lane in Walnut Creek early Saturday, the effort resulting in some localized traffic restrictions.
Kitty Litter and absorbent pads were used as firefighters tried to corral the spreading fluid before it reached storm drains.
The incident was reported at 8:39 a.m. and took a couple of hours to resolve.
