Good News And Bad News In Rossmoor Crash Wednesday

RM_GR 1

A single-car crash in the 2700 block of Golden Rain Road in Rossmoor caused a few anxious moments but ended with the driver walking to a waiting ambulance under their own power.

The crash was reported at 7:57 p.m. with reports of a car into a paving company trailer bearing out. Fears that the driver appeared trapped in the vehicle did not prove true, however, as the driver was assessed by first responders.

That was the good news. The bad news is that the car is going to need a little work.

Not everyone who drives in or through Rossmoor is an elderly person who needs to “give up the keys.” Family and friends visiting, caretakers, deliveries, even young Uber drivers picking people up are allowed through the gates and drive the roads there. No age is given in this article so you don’t know.

Pretty reckless statement. People of all age groups — seniors included — are crashing into objects and each other with regularity.

An ignorant statement…Rossmoor is a 55+ community. There are many people who live in Rossmoor …average age is 68.7. “There are 17,455 residents in Rossmoor, with a median age of 68.7”

Gramma could change a wagon wheel with a youngster strapped to her chest without falling behind. She may be slow, but she ain’t reckless.
