Veterans’ Voices Show Focuses On Helping Vets In Transition

On Monday, February 8, from 7 pm to 8 pm,Veterans’ Voices will host an honest discussion about the transition from service to civilian life. The show, “CalTAP: Making the Transition,” will feature advice from Veterans who have made the transition and include resources to help take the first step. Guests will include Josh Zebley of CalVet’s Transition Assistance Program, Angela Brush of Team Rubicon, and Kris Lord of Team Red White and Blue. 

Viewers can share their own experiences or ask a question by calling into the program at 925-313-1170. They can also use that number to record a message for the panel before the show. The Veterans’ Voices program is broadcasted live on Contra Costa Television (CCTV) on the second Monday of every month at 7 pm. It is also live online at Facebook@Veteransvoices1. You can find an archive of past shows and show resources at www.contracostatv.org/veteransvoices. The show is re-run multiple times on CCTV channels Comcast 27, Wave 32, and AT&T U-Verse 99.

Transition can be a very difficult time in a soldier’s life. A path to follow can make all the difference. This show is designed to help Veterans in transition find the inspiration and the right direction for that very first step out of uniform.
