Firefighters were able to quickly gain the upper hand on a fire reported at a home at 242 Greenwich Drive early Tuesday – the latest in a series of similar incidents in the city in recent weeks.
The fire was reported shortly before 3 a.m. and was quickly brought under control, according to a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District spokesperson.
No injuries were reported and no cause or estimate of damage provided.
Tuesday’s fire follows Friday’s total loss of a home under construction off Belmont Court in Pleasant Hill, and another in the same area earlier in the month.
If you’re a Pleasant Hill homeowner, this might be a good time to increase your insurance coverage. What the heck is going on?
