Danville police are responding to an interrupted residential burglary in the 100 block of Santa Clara Drive in the city this morning – the ski-masked culprit kicking in the front door of the residence before he was confronted by a resident.

Police are looking for a male of unknown race, about 5′ 10″ tall who fled in a Jetta-type sedan with tinted windows. Descriptions are still very fresh and should be taken advisedly.

The incident was reported at roughly 8:27 a.m.

We’ll be updating as we get any additional information. We’re also checking on a similar reported instance in Lafayette which occurred at approximately the same time.

  1. Historically speaking, shorter door openings, say 4 feet, do require marauders to stoop when entering, putting them at a significant disadvantage. It’s the best yu kun dew. I don’t see any kits at amazon for that, tho’. Put 3/4″ plywood over that patio slider. That’s no guud!
