A San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District ladder truck – one of the big ones you see with lights and a ladder on it – was rammed by an unfortunate motorist outside its station Monday night.
The lone occupant of the civilian vehicle got the worst of the encounter, but the fire apparatus is going to need a touch of paint and some body work.
Alcosta Boulevard outside San Ramon Station 34 was briefly closed as police and fire department personnel tended to all concerned. No serious injuries were reported.
Maybe they should put some more lights on it!
