Cute. Why did they come to Lafayette and why did they target those homes? Was this random or something else?
These criminals just cruise around an area looking for an opportunity: an open garage door; elderly residents or other targets perceived as vulnerable. Mail in a box, etc etc. This is why we need to call the police/sheriff whenever we see something suspicious. My radar goes up whenever I see 3 men in a car cruising slowly thru an area. Sure maybe they’re looking for an address, but past that I really watch. And sorry to say, if the car is old and dented, or has tinted windows and big rims, I’m even more suspecious.
Either way, let law enforcement know and check it out. Most local agencies have a special non emergency number to report on.
probably amazon, ups, fedex drivers see these houses and notice how vulnerable that neighborhood is😦
Both home invasions in Lafayette – the suspects entered through open garage doors. They were looking for an easy entrance, and they found one. I doubt any of the suspects have a job. They’re committing crimes for a living.
The firing squad would be okay with me. Minus the blanks and the blindfolds. Let them see what’s coming their way, which is EXACTLY what they did to the victims of home invasion.
They didn’t kill the victims.
I never said they killed their victims. I am in favor of the death penalty towards violent offenders, because in CA – thanks to liberals, and liberal judges who let violent offenders out of jail for $5K – we no longer have any real laws in CA when it comes to crime. All they get is a slap on the wrist. Whether or not the death penalty is a deterrent, they won’t be committing more crimes if they’re on DEATH ROW.
Liberals who have more empathy for the suspects instead of the VICTIMS are pathetic.
Most people have the emotional maturity to be able to have empathy for victims and separately decide their feelings about the death penalty. One does not determine the other. You can be hard on crime but against the death penalty. Only the Sith deal in absolutes.
We need to build more jails and prisons so that we can actually enforce full jail/prison sentences. I’d consider it tax dollars well-spent if it keeps violent criminals like this apart from society.
There’s no good reason that Diop should’ve been out on $50k bail after committing a home invasion in Benicia less than a month ago. As Danielle points out, since bondsmen usually charge a 10% fee to post bail, only $5k is really required to get out.
Thems has Hard looks. They be glarin.
I don’t want the state or my government killing people in my name.
Your “name” has nothing to do with it. This isn’t about “you.”
Build the wall. It will be BEAUTIFUL, trust me, I know walls.
