  1. If I was a hispanic subway employee with a junker car I think I’d stay out of san ramon for the next week or so. The parents network is going to come unglued by this. Hopefully cool heads will prevail.

  2. yes. Arrest this man for being nice to other human being. It is a crime these day to show compassion and to speak other people.

  3. If you want to know what rasism looks…..well, here it is. Just because this guy was Mexican and he spoke to a white child in a white suburban town he being investigated by the police. The guy was not hostile or was not rude. He was polite and asked for directions. THAT IS NOT A CRIME!

  4. This is suspicious. Had he not complimented her on her jeans looking good on her, I’d give him the benefit of the doubt. Grown men approaching juveniles and complimenting her on her appearance will leave society with the impression that you’re a sex offender. Even if he isn’t, his behavior was inappropriate. This has nothing to do with race. White men do this to young girls, and they’re reported too. Protection of children is taken seriously by society, and rightfully so. I don’t know if I’d call the police myself (I would had he driven up to her) but I would certainly have an open dialogue with my child. It’s commonly referred to as responsible, loving parenting.
