San Ramon PD Issue Public Notice: “Were You Approached By This Man?”
San Ramon police are looking for potential witnesses or additional victims of a man they said sexually battered at least two women on a public bus from Walnut Creek BART to San Ramon.
The alleged incidents occurred between Aug. 12 and 14, according to police, with victim statements and video evidence leading to the arrest of Ernesto Acuna, 58, whose hometown was not provided.
Investigators said a witness indicated that a third woman may have also been victimized during this same period.
Police are asking any additional witnesses or victims to contact them at the San Ramon police department. Police Captain Denton Carlson said witnesses or victims could reach out to him via the Direct Messaging function on his Twitter account.
