From the John Muir Land Trust:

With the help of hundreds of donors, we’ve accomplished the $350,000 challenge match for the Campaign to Save Painted Rock. And we did it one day early. Thank you!
JMLT has been overwhelmed with the number of donations. We are truly grateful for the generosity our donors have expressed to save this unique property for generations to come.

We have $200,000 to go by May 31 to meet the $2 million goal. If you haven’t donated already, or are moved to do so again, here are a few ways you can:

1. Make a gift online
2. Come to our 30th Anniversary Gala this Saturday, May 4
3. Spread the word to your friends and family!

We are so close. Help us get across the finish line!
If acquired, the 84 acres of Painted Rock and its 935-foot summit would complete a new community resource totaling 505 beautiful acres—with miles of multi-use trails, ponds, streams, windswept grasslands, and unparalleled views.
