Walnut Creek Mountain Mike’s Pizza Restaurant Robbed At Knifepoint Tuesday Morning

Mountain Mike’s Pizza in Walnut Creek, 1817 Ygnacio Valley Rd., was robbed at knifepoint Tuesday morning – the suspect escaping with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect, initially described as a black male in a dark jacket, ran from the scene and drove off in a white 2001 Ford Focus with “Modern Carpet Cleaning (dot) com” on its sides.

There were no reports of injuries though an employee/owner reportedly chased after the suspect as he made his escape.

The incident was reported at 11:27 a.m., the suspect’s vehicle last seen heading eastbound on Ygnacio Valley Road.
