Danville police are attempting to locate a car and three men suspected of breaking into a home on Claypool Court in their city at around 1:10 p.m. this afternoon, Thursday.
Witnesses reported seeing three black males, at least one wearing a full ski mask, leaving a residence on Claypool at that time and getting into a grey, possibly light silver blue Infiniti with “Dublin Infiniti” paper plates.
Contra Costa County Sheriff’s deputies reportedly acquired a car of that description and fell in behind it as the driver sped off onto Highway 4 soon after the burglary was reported. It was not immediately known if the car was eventually stopped.
Neighboring agencies have been alerted. We’ll have more as this develops.
If your safe fits in a standard passenger car, you’re doing it wrong.
Sounds like they knew what they wanted. Could be word of mouth or maybe inside job.
