The Town of Danville invites families to hop into spring at the annual Eggstravaganza, a community tradition taking place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Danville Community Center and Town Green.
This celebration promises a day of activities for children and families, including egg hunts, arts and crafts, face painting, and even a photo backdrop with the Spring Bunny. Egg hunts are organized by age to ensure children ages 1 to 9 have an equal opportunity to collect treasure-filled eggs. Families may choose between two sessions held from 9 to 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Within each session, egg hunts run in six 15-minute blocks by age group, and families will participate during the time assigned to their child’s age group.
Downtown Danville businesses will join in the celebration with special promotions, treats, and family-friendly activities throughout the day.
Advance registration is required, and space is limited. Tickets are $8 for Danville residents and $10 for non-residents. To register, visit danville.ca.gov/recguide or call 925-314-3400 for more information.
