Twisty Pursuit Up And Down I-680 Sunday
Readers advised us of a pursuit up and down I-680 on Sunday, the CHP behind a white Mercedes and a driver they wanted to talk with about some traffic infractions, we think.
Pursued and pursuers made an abrupt turn off the freeway onto Diablo Road in Danville and we believe the pursuit was terminated.

Yes, in today’s world pursuits are terminated for almost any reason, likely too much noise in a
Danville neighborhood in this case.
Me, I was in a low speed pursuit near Blackhawk a few months ago, dispatcher told me
to discontinue, I said hell no.

The guy eventually pulled over and a CoCo Dep met us. Could have hooked the guy up,
but I just had the Dep give him a lecture.
