No Official Word Yet On Assault/Arrest Near Concord BART Friday

PoliceLightsTight

We’re attempting to follow up on a Flash Alert we issued after receiving word of a possible assault on an elderly person at Concord BART Friday afternoon but so far we haven’t heard anything back from police or BART officials.

And although we’ve gotten reports that a teen suspect was subsequently arrested after he was struck by a car at Grant and Willow Pass we can’t say if the involved car was a civilian or police vehicle, though some of you say video of the incident was captured at the time. If you have any of that and care to share, send it on in.

“The Flash”

What we can say is that an assault on an elder male victim was reported at the station at around 4:41 pm. Moments later, at around 4:48pm, we began receiving reports of someone struck by a car and down on Grant Street near Willow Pass Road. A youth believed to be in his teens was believed transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
