Sean “Razor One” McDonough at the scene of a well-involved house fire on Studebaker Road in Walnut Creek tonight, coming back with this and other photos as firefighters arrived to battle the flames.
Sean, it appears, has developed something of a fan club in these parts with his photos regularly gracing our pages. Our thanks to all who welcomed him during a tough time, said flattering things about his work, and who shared water and their pets with him after the blaze was knocked down – important when a photographer is winding down after an incident.
The Bullet (Journalese for a short summation of the incident): One with burn injuries taken to John Muir Hospital for treatment, one house pet lost, heavy damage to the residence with origin of the blaze believed to be a clothes dryer.
