Some minor recruiting going after firefighters responded to an address in Walnut Creek Thursday and Capt. Brian George spotted some young admirers watching from a distance. Hands-on training was allowed and the cul-de-sac kids learned the ins and outs of fire hydrants while Dad made a video for posterity.
