Train versus pedestrian incident under investigation in Martinez tonight after a person was struck and seriously injured at the Amtrak station, 601 Marina Vista. The incident was reported at 7:57p.m. and some road access has been restricted as investigators work to determine events.

This is my friend who was hit. Were still trying to understand what exactly happened. He is still unconscious. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
I was there. Idk how he got caught under the train but I have video of them pulling him out from under it… he was under there for quite some time tho a good 10 minutes. It’s a miracle he’s still alive.
