An apparent fight aboard an Antioch-bound train approaching Lafayette BART resulted in the use of a chemical agent aboard the train Thursday, several arrests once the train pulled into the station and at least two hospitalizations.
The incident was reported at approximately 5:15pm with multiple agencies descending on Lafayette BART in preparation of the train’s arrival and reports of injuries aboard.
At least three teens were seen in handcuffs and people were trundled out of the station for transport to local hospitals.
Well that was a basket of kittens.
At least it wasn’t knifes or guns this time.
Made it home and celebrating with a glass of wine. Yay me!🎉
No photo?
Just the two here and six or seven on-scene photos and videos on our Facebook Page. Guess we just couldn’t pull the photo thing off tonight… (what?)
Time to get the eyes checked.
Wow… I I just missed getting on that train in Oakland, I was coming down the stairs as it closed its doors and pulled away from the station. .While I was initially really annoyed , because a strret-person held me up and caused me to miss the train, I am t now glad I missed it!
See how things can work out good, even when it initially look bad!
Get to Reno, head to the nearest roulette wheel…
27 red and double 00. Your timing was fortuitous, if not impeccable. Wishing a speedy and complete recovery for in need of medical care. Glad to here that the “alleged” culprits were apprehended.
By the way, I was helping the street person who is in a little bit of crisis. It sounded like I was blaming them, which was not… but it shows that doing good…actually ended up being good!
Thrill ride. No extra charge.
I weep for the younger generation.
I knew it.
What is it with hospital rides for pepper spray? Just soak your face, it will go away in a couple of hours.

Unknown if they went for exposure or for something else. As you know, folks can get hurt in a rush to get away, heart rates soar, etc.
True!!!
