DANVILLE, Calif. (November 12, 2024): The annual Senior Giving Tree program returns through December 5, providing holiday gifts to older adults in our community. Organized by the Town of Danville, this initiative invites community members to donate wrapped gifts with a maximum value of $25.
Recommended items include new games, books, puzzles, crossword books, and Sudoku books for adults. Each gift will be distributed by Danville Senior Center staff to brighten a senior’s holiday season. Gift drop-off locations are set up at the Danville Senior Center, located at 115 E. Prospect Ave., and the Danville Town Offices at 500 La Gonda Way.
Located in the heart of Downtown Danville, the Veterans Memorial Building and Danville Senior Center is a central gathering spot for veterans, seniors and the community. Built in 1925, the Veterans building hosts meetings and events for local veterans groups, as well as classes and programs for seniors.
