UPDATE: News24/680 Danville 1:43pm BREAKING – burglary suspect Clayton Mackay captured after struggle in the 100 block of Camino Encanto.

Hello,

The Danville Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Clayton Mackay, a 26-year-old male wanted for an interrupted residential burglary on Alexander Lane, Danville.  The house was occupied during the burglary.  Mackay fled prior to police arrival when he was confronted by the resident.

Description of Clayton Mackay:

Age: 26

Last Seen Wearing: Black shirt and shorts, bike helmet, no shoes.

Mackay was last observed running from police in the parking lot of the Livery Shopping Center at 661 San Ramon Valley Blvd, Danville.

Public Safety Advisory:

If you see Clayton Mackay, do not approach him. Please call 911 immediately to report his location.

Stay alert and secure your homes and vehicles. Report any suspicious activities to the police.

    • Yes. Well, the burglary, possibly a domestic incident, a possible arson, a possible car burglary. We believe police would like to catch him before they pin down those charges.

  2. Chopper flying over Alamo/Danville now. They are saying over a loudspeaker to beware of the suspect and described the person’s clothing as black. I could not hear the message too well due to the chopper noise.
