Investigators in Dublin are seeking information in the on-campus assault of a 15-year-old male victim at Dublin High School on August 23.
Police said they went to the high school at about 3:30 p.m. on that day to find the youth suffering from non life-threatening injuries suffered in an apparent beating.
Investigators determined that the youth was confronted by a Dublin High parent and four teens who followed him as he retreated into the school locker room – the teens beating him once they were inside.
Police said the involved parties all knew one another and that the incident was not random in nature. They are working to develop surveillance footage and evidence related to the beating and are hoping to identify those involved.
