Two lucky and resilient youths climbed out of the wreckage of a car on westbound Highway 24 in Lafayette Thursday after the vehicle skewed off the freeway, down a hill and into a stand of trees at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Passersby reported the crash and stopped to help the two youths, who were treated for minor injuries. Firefighters used a variety of tools to access the vehicle.
I think there must be more to this story……
At least you can admit your mistake. Thank God you guys are okay.
Such as what? Freeway, accident. Ya know, they happen…. as is explained below.
Take your point but also not the first time such a thing has happened.
Glad the kids are OK and WOW, those are intense photos.
Quite the flames shooting up from the car when I drove by, as you can see by the picture. It looked very serious. Glad to know that both people escaped with little injury. It sure it looked like it could have been worse. If only more people would take heed of the driver’s feedback what caused the accident.
I’m sure you had your seat belts!!! For it could’ve been much worse. Seat belts save lives
