Red and green aviation lights caught the eye of photographer Sean McDonough Friday as a REACH air ambulance arrived at John Muir Hospital with a crash victim aboard, the passenger severely injured in a head-on crash on Byron Highway.

    As someone who lives with chronic illness I applaud all the health care workers (including in this case the helicopter crew). They make our lives better everyday. Happy Holidays to all.
