Bad Afternoon On Our Highways

Both our namesake roadways affected by crashes, incidents this afternoon.

This multi-vehicle collision occurred on eastbound Highway 24 prior to the I680 and REALLY impacted traffic before crews were able to get things cleared again. Three people off to the hospital but we don’t think the injuries were serious…

… and things were equally disrupted on I680 at the Sycamore Valley overpass as law enforcement and fire department personnel attempted to recover a person threatening to jump. In the end, the person was convinced to come back to safety and traffic was restored.
