Walnut Creek Photographer Follows His Nose To Pre-Dawn Fire

Our squad of photographers all have a keen nose for a good news photo and Sean “Nosferatu” McDonough has that – and more.

Like most of us here Sean never sleeps, so he’s getting shots of things happening around the 24/680 while everyone else is snug in bed.

Sean’s news nose came into play Friday morning when a garbage truck caught fire at 2nd and N. Main in Walnut Creek and, like any good newshound, he followed the scent to the scene and caught the moment the truck burned down to the hubs.
