One Shot In Concord Monday

One person was wounded by gunfire after a shooting on Hillsborough Court in Concord tonight.

The incident was first reported around 6:20 p.m. with bystanders thinking a man down with an apparent stomach wound had been injured in a fireworks mishap. Arriving officers confirmed the shooting and launched a search for the suspect.

Preliminary information was that the gunman was a white male, about 5′ 8″ tall with a mustache and neck tattoo. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.

There was no word on the condition of the wounded party.

  1. I personally don’t have any tattoos, but implying that anyone with tattoos is a bad person only shows total ignorance and stupidity of the one making such statements.

  2. I once was wary of those with neck tattoos. Then I met a few of those folks, and then a few more, and it turned out they were pretty much like me, but with neck tattoos (I’m pretty decent by the way). Maybe 20 years ago a neck tat meant something, but nowadays its usually just someone’s personal expression. Now, the tat itself can have meaning either positive or negative or neutral, I grant you that.

  3. Actually, I don’t think there are any official “prison” tattoos that’s located on the neck. Anyone can get anything tattooed on their neck without having to do anything or ask permission of anyone. It’s mind blowing just how often people make things up and start posting online as though they are facts. Worse more, using those made up “facts” as reason and justification to profile someone by.
