A 32-year-old woman walking in the area of Camino Tassajara and Wood Ranch Road was struck and killed by a car at approximately 8:06 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
The victim was identified by Contra Costa County coroner’s deputies as Joyce Huang of Danville.
Investigators remained at the scene of the collision for several hours, with police blocking the intersection to facilitate their investigation. The driver of the vehicle believed involved remained on scene, police said.
May their God hold them in his hands and give them comfort during this time.
