Firefighters responding to reports of smoke and flames at a building in the 1100 block of Buchanan Road in Antioch arrived to find heavy smoke and flame coming from the structure.
The fire was reported at 6 a.m. with initial indications that it started at an electrical box and moved into the building’s attic space.
The fire was declared under control by 6:45 a.m. with an investigator remaining on scene.
No estimate of damages was given and there were no reports of injuries.
There seems to be an unusual number of accidents at planned parenthood, and certain places of worship in recent years. Like a wave cresting. I hope the investigator is diligent.
Not Planned Parenthood?
Oh, THAT’s different. Never mind.
Last I heard it was in the same complex as Planned Parenthood but different structure. Allegedly a small church and dental lab were consumed. I talked to one of the lab workers at the scene who also confirmed the previous.
