A two-alarm fire at the Hookston Senior Home facility on Hookston Road in Pleasant Hill left one person injured before it was brought under control at 1:41 p.m. Thursday.
Con Fire crews were summoned to the senior care complex at 1:15 p.m. and are still at the scene. The cause of the fire was determined by investigators to have been electrical in nature.
Firefighters rescued three residents from their porches. The one person injured in the fire reportedly suffered from minor burns and smoke inhalation.
