Pleasanton PD Investigate Deaths Of Pair Found In Car Saturday

Pleasanton police investigators are attempting to determine how two people found dead in a car near the I-580 sound wall Saturday met their end.

Officers responding to the area of Pimlico Drive near the sound wall at 9:45 a.m. Saturday expected to find one person a caller had said appeared to have been deceased inside. Instead, they found one adult male and an adult woman inside an Acura TSX – both deceased.

The Alameda County Coroner responded and recovered both bodies, which appeared to have been inside the car for about a week based on their condition.

Police said foul play was not immediately suspected, but that their investigation is ongoing and they are not ruling anything out. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Pleasanton Police Department at (925) 931-5100.
