Contra Costa County has designated the Orinda Library as a Cooling Center as temperatures are expected to remain high from July 8 through July 10.
People hoping to cool off are required to wear masks while at the facility – no matter what their vaccination status might be.
The library is open to those seeking relief and offers comfortable seating, available computers, and – of course – plenty of excellent reading options.
