Walnut Creek Resident Followed Home From Pet Store – Robbed At Gunpoint

An armed robber was apparently shopping for more than pet food when he followed a customer home from a Walnut Creek pet shop and robbed him of his watch and keys Sunday.

The incident in the 1500 block of First Avenue, according to police, although no time was provided.

The suspect was described as a black male in a hoodie armed with a black handgun. He was last seen on Hall Lane in a white BMW 4-door with black license plates, heading in the direction of Geary Road.

    Yes, the description of the car and the person matches the other “follow home robberies from Walnut Creek”…. And by a coincidence, (or maybe not) it matches the description of a follow home robbery up in yountville, where my sister lives. A man was robbed of his watch by a same describe criminal. The police up there supposedly arrested that guy, but with our current system I’m sure he was let out the same or next day.. to continue his unsavory profession. Maybe it’s the same guy stealing his daily up-to-$950-and-not-go-to-jail policy of California.
