Two victims told police in Walnut Creek they were accosted by an armed man, assaulted and robbed on a city street Saturday night – the suspect brandishing a small, Glock-type pistol and escaping with a man’s wallet.
The incident was believed to have occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. in the area of N. Broadway and Lincoln Avenue. Witnesses said the suspect left the area after assaulting one or both of his victims.
He is believed to have escaped in a black Lexus.
No shortage of weapons here. It’s a pretty big river.
The Lexus bandit?
Another one in Pleasant Hill?
There was another incident, we believe a strong-arm robbery, in the Starbridge area early this morning. We believe police may have recovered some of the items stolen in that incident.
No description of the perp?
Nothing official from WCPD. White male, black gun.
WC at 9pm was a total zoo and not one cop around.
Hey, Joan. For the sake of perspective, what does “total zoo” look like? It was a fairly busy night but what were you seeing?
You mean people enjoying outdoor dining, patronizing the restaurants which have been struggling? SMH
One guy outside Bourbon looking for trouble. There’s always some knucklehead too dumb to know better.
Sad but true, Aaron.
