Fire Damages San Ramon Home Tuesday

Fire consumed the garage of a two-story residence in the 2500 block of Toltec Circle early Tuesday morning, spreading into the residence before firefighters could bring the blaze under control.

The fire was reported shortly before 2 a.m. with arriving fire crews met by heavy smoke and flame from the garage. Residents fled the home as crews worked to suppress the spreading flames while searching for a small dog the occupants reported missing on the second floor.
