In a landscape where everyone looks like The Lone Ranger it can be hard to tell the players without a scorecard, unless you’re a copper working the beat in San Ramon.
Things have been heating up crime-wise across the 24/680 as more folks venture forth and San Ramon has not escaped the trend.
They say their officers arrested two people at around 1:30 p.m. yesterday, Tuesday, after the city’s camera system alerted officers to a car that was previously involved in a burglary.
Officers saw the car driving and arrested the driver (who was on probation for robbery) for possession of stolen property and methamphetamine possession, police reported on their Facebook page.
A passenger was also taken into custody for two theft-related warrants (one felony and one misdemeanor) and possession of stolen property.
Then, at about 6:30 yesterday evening, officers received another alert from the camera system about a stolen vehicle. Officers found the car, which was stolen out of San Jose a few days ago, and arrested the driver (who was on probation for child endangerment) for possession of a stolen vehicle, methamphetamine possession, and a probation violation.
All three individuals were booked into the county jail in Martinez.

Looks like a Lone Ranger reunion out there.
Looks like men in black. Black car, clothing, uniform, watch, sunglasses, guns and baseball hat.
None of these guys REMOTELY resembles the Lone Ranger.
