Murder On Stanwell Drive Stuns Concord Monday

Reports of gunfire brought Concord police to the 2300 block of Stanwell Drive Monday, officers arriving to find a man on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was identified by the Contra Costa County coroner’s office Tuesday as Michael Olsen, 39, of Concord.

Olsen was pronounced dead at the scene, shortly after the shooting was reported at 12:40 p.m.

Concord police have arrested Pleasant Hill resident Harminder Singh Aujla on suspicion of killing Olsen.
