“Lockdown… Schmockdown… I’m Comin’ Through…”

We’re meant to be staying appropriately distant from one another these days but apparently the 68-year-old driver of this Dodge Ram was tired of sheltering in his place – and decided to shelter in someone else’s.

At around 5:30 p.m. Saturday the driver got a little wonky on Hawthorne Drive in unincorporated Walnut Creek, struck a parked car and then violated the standing social distancing order by driving his truck into a home at 956 Hawthorne.

Luckily, no one was inside, according to the CHP, and the driver suffered only minor injuries.

Unfortunately, officers realized the driver had been drinking prior to his tour of the neighborhood and he was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence/DUI.

No word on what it’s going to cost to fix that hole.

Oh, Oh, Oh!! Ozempic! Side effects may include cramping or twitching of extremities. Do not take Ozempic if figure skating near a loved one or driving in a confined space. While weight loss is common, Ozempic is not approved as a weight loss program.

That picture is a bit surreal. That’s a pretty clean entry wound for what appears to be a window with wood framing underneath. It looks like someone has cleaned up the bits of hanging glass and wood framing. Yes? It’s hard to imagine that is how it looked just after impact…and what an impact this DUI made. Impressive work! Was that a converted garage?

People are losing it. Thats all there is to it. Drinking more and thinking less. Bored and crazy and losing money.

I will agree. We went to the store today and a woman just completely lost it in the parking lot because her car key wouldn’t work. She was sobbing. Hoping this doesn’t go on much longer — we’re not tough enough.
