Tree Trimmer Electrocuted In Alamo Workplace Accident Wednesday
A tree trimmer working on Escondido Court in Alamo was killed Wednesday after apparently making contact with a live power line.
The unidentified worker was knocked unconscious at around 4:35 p.m. while suspended in a tree in the neighborhood.
A neighbor said the tree caught fire after contact with the wire was made, with responding firefighters calling PG&E workers to de-energize the line before they were able to recover the worker.
Cal/OSHA is investigating the accident.
