Orinda PD Investigating Strong-arm Robbery At Wells Fargo Wednesday

Orinda police are investigating a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank branch, 80 Moraga Way Wednesday afternoon.

Orinda Police Chief David Cook said dispatchers received a report of a robbery at the branch at approximately 12:31 p.m.

The suspect was described at the time as a white, male, adult wearing dark clothing and a dark baseball cap, possibly with orange trim. The suspect used a note, there was no weapon seen and there were no injuries reported, according to Cook.

Police are not disclosing a loss. The Orinda Police Department is in contact with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and are working to follow up on leads.

        • Still nothing from the PD on this one Andrew, though we totally understand how personal proximity can enhance interest in these things. The PD May be holding back for any number of reasons, but we don’t like to speculate…

  1. Quiet out there today? I get suspicious when I dodn’t see a swat team chalking up to breach Starbucks every other day or so now.
