From the City of Orinda:
On January 18th, 19th, and 20th, PG&E will have subcontractor Alvah Contractors, Inc. performing installation of overhead insulated wire and pole replacement on El Toyonal, from the intersection of Alta Vista to upper/western Loma Vista Drive. The project will be conducted in segments – January 18th will be the section of El Toyonal from Alta Vista to Camino del Cielo; January 19th will be El Toyonal from Camino del Cielo to approximately #225 El Toyonal; and January 20th will be from approximately #225 El Toyonal to Loma Vista Drive.
Due to the nature of this work, road closures with detours will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for all three days. Residents will have limited ingress and egress to their properties on El Toyonal during these hours and delays can be expected. All through traffic uphill of the road closure will be detoured using Lomas Contadas to Highway 24.
